Mark Coorey and Oska Software

In 2004 Oska Software, under the lead of CEO Mark Coorey, released the first 3D DeskMate. Johlee was an immediate worldwide success and led Oska to create many more 3D DeskMate Characters.

Mark Coorey's original DeskMates were created using traditional animation techniques, animators working over lightboxes with pencils and paper - Lots of paper. In order to establish Oska as a producer of high quality 3D animation, Mark established a dedicated 3D department and had our existing 2D animators trained in the use of 3D animation software. The next 3D DeskMate to be released was Sugar-n-Spice - two sexy and very funny girls. Sugar is the typical dumb blonde and her side kick, Spice, is well, spicy. Together they make a great comedy duo.

Mark Coorey's next project was to bring Tahni, one of our 2D DeskMates into the 3D world. Tahni was one of the original DeskMates - a much loved character with a world wide fan base. Mark led our new animation team to ensure that the 3D model and animation would do Tahni justice. We did not want to disappoint Tahni's fans and didn't. Tahni 3D was a fantastic success.

Hot on her heals was Kahli 3D with her nemesis, the evil Electra. Each of our 3D DeskMates were labours of loves. We are very proud of them. Check out the full 3D lineup at www.3dmates.com
